Straight answers.
When should the scan happen?
At rough-in — after inspection passes, before the drywall crew hangs board. Every pipe, wire, and duct is still visible. That window is usually only a few days, so we schedule around your framer and drywaller.
How accurate is it?
Roughly ±1–2%. A 20-foot wall reads within about 2–3 inches — exactly what you need to find a pipe before you drill. (Survey-grade commercial work is available on quote.)
What do I actually get?
A hosted 3D walkthrough that opens on any phone or computer, labeled by trade, with a measurement tool, floor plan PDF, and marked shutoffs. Gold adds the CAD file, system log, and QR closet plaque.
Do I need to be there?
No. We coordinate with the builder's schedule and lock up behind ourselves. Most scans take about an hour on site.
Do the files expire?
Bronze and Silver are hosted for one year. The Gold Forever File is hosted for the life of the home — and the QR plaque hands it to the next owner at closing.
My walls are already closed. Too late?
For the X-Ray File, yes — that's a one-time window. But the radar wall-scan add-on can still map what's in a specific finished wall before you cut into it.
